C. W. Welch, or "Cee Dub" as many people know him, first tasted Dutch Oven cooking on family camping trips in the 1950's. Little did he realize that watching his folks cooking over a campfire would be his first step toward authoring several Dutch Oven cookbooks and filming two television series devoted to Dutch Oven and outdoor cooking. During his twenty-nine-year career in wildlife management and law enforcement, outdoor cooking was a necessity not a recreational pastime. Cee Dub lives in Grangeville, Idaho.
